Calls to Action – Week of March 29th

Hello, Indivisibles!

The pressure we’re putting out there is making a difference in a big way. There are cracks forming and #DonTheCon has had his first major failure to get a party-line vote. Now is a great time to turn up the volume and build on that momentum!

Tell Three People about Indivisible North Seattle

Indivisible North Seattle

We’re stronger together. Not everybody has discovered Indivisible. They don’t know they can make a huge difference calling their members of Congress and telling them what they what they need to do.

This week tell at least three co-workers, friends, or family about Indivisible North Seattle.

If they go to “Indivisible North Seattle Dot O R G” they will find all of the information they need, and there’s a form right on the home page where they can sign up for announcements and weekly actions.

With the successful defeat of Trumpcare the wind is at our back and it is time to take that same approach towards immigration, specificially ICE. We need to let them know their inhumane treatment of undocumented people is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. The government ia clearly not going to hold them accountable, so that task now falls on us. We must protect and stand up for the basic and human rights of all immigrants regardless of legal status.

Washington State legislators are considering several bills that could delay or dismantle voter-approved rail transit projects in the Sound Transit District under Sound Transit 3. These include commuter rail, light rail, and express buses that will connect the metropolitan areas of the central Puget Sound region.

We need you to remind your legislators that 54% of the electorate in the Sound Transit District approved Sound Transit 3 to connect our communities with high-capacity transit.
